WSJ's Future View on "The State of Journalism"

Future View is a column from the Wall Street Journal. Every week, it features 250 word opinions of college students (Super cool opportunity)  on recent news!  This week, Future View featured an article on the state of journalism. In this article students talk about viewer responsibility, increasingly polarized clickbait titles, and the importance of quality reporting in the age of social media. A comment from Jacob Kaminski, a University of Chicago, M.B.A candidate resonated with me: "Think of the cable-news reactions to the rough transcript of President Trump’s phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. On one channel it’s undeniably an exoneration, and on another it’s slam-dunk evidence of an impeachable offense."
